Don’t click the spoiler if you don’t want yourself spoiled about the psych theories used in this chapter.
As some have already guessed, Rigel’s mind links correspond to Freudian theories about the level of mind, the Id, the Ego and Superego. Continue Reading
So. It has been a month since last chapter. You guys must be wondering if I dropped it. Nope. I had exams and then…my laptop went bust. I didn’t have much cash at hand right then so I had to wait for a few days to buy a new one. It will release regularly from today. Here is HTSAS, from my new laptop that is red as wine(well, I am sure it is more like dried-blood red but the shop assistant was adamant that it was wine-red) Continue Reading
Chapter 16: Surviving Serpents
“…Ever seeth a sane hero, my boy? They exist doth not. The gifts of the gods subverteth their minds. The favours granteth be a double-edged sword, oh they doth beest. No hero, whether in their blood-thirst or brutal sense of justice remaineth sane. Therefore, my lad, doth not become a hero at any cost. If ye are ever chosen by the gods, kill thineself. For there is never a crueller fate than beeth a chosen.”
— Alihernecht to his son, The Last Hero, by the first female playwright, Picalterssa Firehands.

The first psychological chapter is here. For all the psychology enthusiasts out there, here is the list of all the psychological phenomenon and theories that come to play in this chapter.
- Freud’s theories on interpretation of dreams.
- Freud’s psycho-sexual theories.
- Kübler-Ross Model of grief.
Honestly, I am worried about how you guys will treat this chapter. All I can do is sort of urge you not to judge Rigel or Faeve too harshly, for they are suffering.
Author Note: Hello guys. I am so sorry for being late. I know you guys have been waiting for the next chapter. Or not. I had to deal with a relative getting admitted at hospital and her eventual death yesterday. As an apology, Ch15 might be a bit early. That said, I am really worried about Ch15, the next chapte, how will it be received. It was a dark and difficult chapter to write….
As always, if you like/dislike the fic, please rate/review it so it gets more readers.

Author Note: So, I heard you guys don’t read the blurbs right under the Chapter Title? Well…you are missing out. They are important because they tell histories and fill small gaps in the story about how things work. Also, a lot of them have information that creeps up in the main story.
